G.A.T.O. Tower Breaks Ground in Phnom Penh, Construction Officially Begins on 67-Storey Landmark

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia – Miraku Capital & Development Co., Ltd officially held the groundbreaking ceremony for G.A.T.O. Tower on 25 July 2026, marking the official commencement of construction for the landmark 67-storey mixed-use development in Phnom Penh's prestigious Boeung Keng Kang 1 (BKK1) district.

The ceremony welcomed company executives, project partners, distinguished guests, and industry stakeholders to celebrate the beginning of construction, representing another major milestone for one of Cambodia's most ambitious high-rise developments.

The groundbreaking follows a series of key milestones for the project this year. In May 2026, Miraku Capital & Development signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with LBL International Construction, formalising the construction partnership and reinforcing both companies' commitment to delivering the development to international standards.

First unveiled earlier this year, G.A.T.O. Tower is planned as a 297-metre-tall mixed-use development that will integrate 472 luxury condominium units with a 224-room luxury hotel. Upon completion, the project is expected to become one of the tallest buildings in Phnom Penh, further enhancing the capital's rapidly evolving skyline.
