Singapore has been one of the leading countries in terms of business and culture during the past years, but it seems that an economic downturn may spell trouble for architects and engineers.
It was reported that there were 940 professionals who were released from their contracts, mostly coming from small architectural firms who are struggling to survive during this rough economic time.
One other option these firms are taking is expanding or transferring to countries that have better economic and social conditions.
This Architecture and Engineering Upset in Singapore may be bad news for Singapore, but this can also mean new ventures for other nearby countries in terms of real estate and infrastructure.
